Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how ALAXI Vending Pty Ltd, trading as ALAXI Vending (ALAXI, we, us or our), manages personal information. Privacy enquiries may be sent to hello@alaxi.com.au.
Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, contact details, enquiry and support information, machine location and transaction references, business details, communication preferences, images or designs submitted for personalised printing, and technical information such as device, browser, IP address, cookie identifiers and website activity.
Payment-card information is processed by our payment providers. ALAXI does not intend to receive or store complete card numbers or card security codes. We may receive limited transaction information needed to verify a payment, provide support or investigate an issue.
How we collect information
We may collect information directly from you through our website, forms, emails, social channels and vending-machine interactions; automatically through website and machine technology; and from service providers, venue partners or other parties where lawful.
Why we use information
- Provide and support vending products and services.

Uploaded images and designs
We use uploaded content to create the requested design, operate and support the transaction, prevent misuse and protect our systems. Technology suppliers may process the content for these purposes. We do not use a customer’s uploaded image for public advertising, marketing or unrelated promotional purposes without separate permission.
Uploaded content is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and support the service, maintain security and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention may depend on the technology used for the relevant machine or transaction.
Disclosure and overseas handling
We may disclose relevant information to providers supporting hosting, software, analytics, payments, communications, professional advice, insurance, maintenance, security and customer support; to venue partners where reasonably needed to resolve an incident; to regulators or law-enforcement bodies where required by law; and to parties involved in a lawful business restructure.
Some service providers may store or process information outside Australia. Where this occurs, handling is subject to the provider’s arrangements and applicable privacy requirements.
Cookies and tracking
We may use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the website. Optional analytics or marketing technologies may also be used to understand website use and improve communications. Available choices will be presented through the website where required.
Direct marketing
Where required, we send marketing only with consent. Marketing messages identify ALAXI and provide a working unsubscribe method. Service and transaction communications are kept separate from optional promotional messages.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Access is limited to people and providers who need the information for authorised purposes.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@alaxi.com.au. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse a request where permitted by law, explaining the reason where required.
Send privacy complaints to hello@alaxi.com.au with the subject ‘Privacy’. We will acknowledge and investigate the matter within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Children and policy changes
Our services are not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate parent or guardian involvement. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use of a machine and any image upload.
We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will be published on our website.
WEBSITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Agreement
This website is operated by ALAXI Vending Pty Ltd, trading as ALAXI Vending. By using the website, you agree to these terms and any specific terms shown when purchasing or using an ALAXI service.
Information and availability
We take reasonable care with website information, but machine locations, opening hours, stock, scents, prices and service availability can change. The current price and instructions displayed at the machine apply to that transaction. Venue hours and access are controlled by the venue.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website or machines; interfere with security or operation; submit unlawful, harmful or infringing content; attempt unauthorised access; or use automated means to extract data without permission.
Uploaded content
You retain your rights in content you upload. You grant ALAXI and its service providers a limited licence to host, process, reproduce, resize, crop and print that content only as reasonably required to provide, secure and support the requested service. You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed for the upload.
Intellectual property
ALAXI branding, website content, machine artwork and original materials are owned by or licensed to ALAXI. Except as permitted by law, they may not be copied, adapted, distributed or commercially used without written permission.
Third-party services
The website and machines may use third-party payment, mapping, social, hosting and technology services. Their terms and privacy practices may apply. Links are provided for convenience and do not necessarily amount to endorsement.
Consumer rights and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALAXI is not responsible for loss caused solely by matters outside its reasonable control, misuse contrary to instructions, or third-party systems and venues. This does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law and contact

REFUNDS AND CONSUMER GUARANTEES
Our products and services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
If a machine charges you but does not provide the purchased product or spray, or if there is another problem, contact hello@alaxi.com.au as soon as reasonably possible. Include the machine location or ID, approximate date and time, amount paid, a description of the issue and a payment reference or receipt. Never email full card details or a card security code.
Depending on the circumstances and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the available remedy may include a refund, replacement or another appropriate solution.
Because Vend on Nails products are personalised to the customer’s selected design, ALAXI does not offer change-of-mind returns where the product is correctly produced and supplied. This does not affect rights relating to faulty goods, goods that do not match their description, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
A change of mind, dislike of an accurately supplied scent, or failure to follow displayed instructions does not automatically create a right to a refund. We will assess each report fairly and in accordance with applicable law.
IMAGE UPLOAD AND CONTENT RULES
By uploading an image or design to Vend on Nails, you confirm that:
- You created it or have permission from the rights owner to use and reproduce it.
- You have appropriate permission from each identifiable person shown.
- It does not infringe copyright, trade mark, privacy, publicity or other rights.
- It is not illegal, threatening, abusive, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, exploitative, misleading or designed to facilitate harm.
- It does not contain malware, hidden code or material intended to disrupt the service.
ALAXI may use automated or manual controls to reject, block or remove content where reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect people or property, comply with law or enforce these rules.
Technical acceptance of an upload does not mean ALAXI has approved its legality.
The customer remains responsible for submitted content. ALAXI’s use is limited as described in these Website Terms and the Privacy Policy.
Before uploading: I confirm that I own this content or have permission to use it, including permission from each identifiable person shown, and I agree to the Image Upload and Content Rules.
COOKIES AND TRACKING NOTICE
We use essential technologies needed for security, forms and core website operation. We may also use optional analytics or marketing technologies to understand website use and improve our communications.
Where required, visitors will be told what optional technologies are used and given an opportunity to manage their choices. Optional tracking will not be treated as essential merely for convenience.
VEND ON NAILS – PRIVACY AND SAFETY NOTICE
Photo privacy
Photos and designs uploaded to create personalised nails are used to process, produce and support the selected design. They are not used for advertising, marketing or unrelated purposes without separate permission.
Payment security
ALAXI does not store your full card number or card security code. Payments are processed through a third-party payment provider. ALAXI may access limited transaction information needed to provide support.
Nail glue warning
Do not use nail glue if you have sensitive skin, damaged nails, a known allergy to adhesives, or an existing skin or nail condition. Read and follow the glue instructions and perform a patch test where directed. Stop use immediately if irritation occurs and seek medical advice if required.
VEND A SCENT – SAFETY NOTICE
For external use only. Avoid the eyes, face, broken or irritated skin. Do not inhale directly. Stop use if irritation occurs. Fragrances may contain allergens. If you have known sensitivities, review available ingredient and allergen information before use or do not use the machine. Children should be supervised by a parent or guardian.
Fragrance names, availability and pricing may vary by machine and location. Inspired-style fragrances are not represented as being affiliated with or endorsed by the original designer brand unless expressly stated.
